Meet Andy

From enterprise networks back to local service

Andy's IT career began at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He spent four years maintaining a six-server Novell NetWare 3.11 network supporting approximately 60 clients and integrated that Novell environment with the university's DEC VAX/VMS systems.

He then worked for approximately two years at an MSP that was a MAS 90 Master Developer, handling the hardware and networking side of client environments and business software implementations. He later became a Systems Engineer at a well-known San Antonio MSP, supporting banks and medium-to-large local businesses.

After being recruited by another MAS 90 Master Developer to support a rapidly growing client following a major acquisition, Andy advanced to Senior Regional IT Manager and earned his Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer credential. He remained with the company for 17 years as the organization grew into one of the country's largest media companies and became a Fortune 500 company listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

He later held additional MSP positions and temporarily operated his own IT services company. Today, Andy has returned to helping households and small businesses solve technology problems with straightforward advice, personal service, and practical solutions.
